Read the steps : Choose the project and point nameThe app starts at Camera. Photos, Map and Projects belong to the tool, and the camera menu opens Settings.
Open the camera and allow the camera or location actions you need.
Open Project to create or choose the job and set a point prefix. Add a note for the next photo so the view has useful context.
Wait for a location fix and inspect GPS accuracy and heading trust. If metal or a magnetic case disturbs the heading, move away and use Align the compass.
Open a saved photo or project to review the view and its readings. Choose an available project export format for the information you need.
Use the camera controls and guide layers to frame the field view.
Keep captures with their projects, then review them from Photos or Map.
Try these steps in the app. All tour instructions stay readable here.
Choose a project and point prefix before taking a series. Add a note describing the subject or viewpoint.
Frame a visible target, choose guide layers and check that location and heading are usable.
Take a photo, then open Photos or Map to inspect the result with its project context.
Continue the same project for related views. Review the available readings before choosing a project export.
Find Survey Camera in these apps.
Choose the project and point prefix before a field sequence so the pictures are easy to group later.
Wait for a usable GPS fix and read the displayed accuracy; a photo with no location cannot supply a reliable map position.
Watch heading trust and Metal nearby indications. Move away from vehicles, railings and magnetic cases when the heading needs a check.
Use a short note to identify what the picture shows, which direction you faced or what needs a later check.
Keep the phone steady when reading angles. Hold preserves readings while you inspect them.
Use guide layers that help the task and review the full photograph before taking the next point.
For two-photo comparisons, identify the same visible feature carefully in both images. Different viewpoints and poor positioning affect the result.
